We want to preserve and create a world worth living in for future generations. We make the largest contribution to this with our loans, with which customers have already implemented over 23,500 sustainable projects. In 2019 alone, this saved more than 630,000 tons of greenhouse gases.
In our business activities, we are guided by the sustainability goals of the United Nations and have defined clear investment criteria. We also stand by the goals of the Paris climate agreement. In addition to these global goals, we represent the values of people orientation, honesty and transparency. Therefore, in addition to environmental protection, we also strive for gender equality and resolutely oppose all forms of discrimination.
We are clearly committed to a social-ecological market economy in a free, democratic basic order. This invites you to discuss, argue and ultimately find the best solutions. We strictly reject violence as a means of political discourse. In addition, we expressly distance ourselves from extremist ideologies and attitudes.
